Caught On Camera: Suspected DUI Wrong-Way Driver on 10 Freeway

Covina, Los Angeles County, CA: A wrong-way freeway driver was captured on video and stopped by California Highway Patrol officers early Thursday morning.

CHP received multiple 911 calls regarding a driver traveling eastbound in westbound lanes on the 10 Freeway at Azusa Avenue around 3:13 a.m., June 1.

CHP units were able to stop the eastbound wrong-way vehicle in the fast westbound lane on the 10 Freeway at Holt Avenue in the city of Covina.

The suspect was taken off the freeway, placed into custody by CHP officers and arrested for driving under the influence.
