Caught On Video: Water Bottle Bandits Steal 13 Cases of Bottled Water

Van Nuys, Los Angeles, CA: Three brazen theft suspects in a black Nissan Altima pulled into a Van Nuys gas station on Sherman Way at Woodman and stole multiple cases of water Sunday night.

In video captured at the scene at approximately 10:47 p.m., May 28, the suspects are seen taking 13 cases of water from a display stand at a 76 gas station and loading them into the Nissan Altima. The Nissan’s license plate, 8WJL392, appeared altered with paint or a sticker on the “L” to make it look like a “U”.

It took the suspects – two men and one woman – one minute to load the vehicle with the stolen water bottles.

The Los Angeles Police Department Van Nuys station was made aware of the incident.
