Driver Ejected in Fiery Vehicle Crash into Brick Wall

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: A driver was ejected from a vehicle that erupted into flames after crashing into a brick wall on Avenue K and 15th Street East on Saturday night, May 21, around 11:12 p.m. in the city of Lancaster.

When Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel arrived on the scene, a Dodge Charger was found wrecked and fully involved in flames. The driver of the vehicle had been ejected after colliding with a brick wall and was seen unconscious on the sidewalk.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies from Lancaster Station were also on scene and began chest compressions on the driver. AMR ambulance arrived and quickly transported the driver to a local area hospital.

Witnesses say the driver was seen speeding in his Dodge Charger just before the accident occurred.

The male driver, in his early thirties, suffered life-threatening injuries from the collision, according to the LASD Lancaster Station Watch Commander.
