Driver Survives High-Speed Wreck on 10 Freeway

San Bernardino, CA: A driver miraculously survived a high-speed violent crash early Saturday morning on the 10 Freeway which tore apart the vehicle.

A Corvette traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into the center divider splitting into multiple pieces down the eastbound 10 Freeway near Rancho in the city of San Bernardino around 2:44 a.m., Dec. 3.

The engine of the corvette was sent flying down the freeway more than 150 yards due to the violent impact of the crash before coming to rest on the right-hand shoulder of the freeway.

The engine was so far down the freeway it was not visible from the actual crash site. The debris field was at least 200 yards long from the Corvette.

A witness stated the Corvette was traveling at a high rate of speed and driving recklessly before the crash.

The Corvette caught fire from the crash but quickly extinguished.

The driver was able to exit the Corvette without assistance and was observed walking around, however, the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for a medical examination.
