Charter Oak, Los Angeles County, CA: One person was extricated from a vehicle by firefighters after a single-vehicle collision Friday night in the unincorporated area of Charter Oak in the San Gabriel Valley region of Los Angeles County.

Around 9:25 p.m., Mar. 25, Los Angeles County Fire Department crews responded to Sunflower and Cienega Avenues for a reported traffic collision with one person trapped.

Arriving units located a driver trapped inside a vehicle on its side. Firefighters were able to extricate the driver within 25 minutes. The patient was then transported to a local area hospital in unknown condition by CARE ambulance.

The cause of the collision is unknown at this time.
