Jefferson Park, Los Angeles, CA: An elderly man in a wheelchair was stabbed at approximately 11:19 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, in the McDonald’s parking lot on the 2800 block Crenshaw Boulevard in the Jefferson Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The man who was reportedly 73 years of age, was stabbed by an unknown assailant at the location. The victim who was wheelchair bound was unable to give police a description or communicate with officers at the time of the reporting of this incident.

Los Angeles Fire Department firefighter/paramedics responded to the location and transported the patient to a local area hospital in serious condition suffering from an unknown number of stab wounds.

Los Angeles Police Department Southwest Division is handling the investigation.
