Florence, Los Angeles, CA: A man was shot and killed Monday morning, Apr. 11, at approximately 1:20 a.m. in the 100 block of East 76th Street.

Los Angeles Police Department 77th Division officers responded to the location in the Florence neighborhood of the city Los Angeles and found the victim in the front yard of a home suffering from gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department firefighter/paramedics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the location. Per area LAPD Watch Commander, the victim was a 37-year-old male, Black.

There was also reports of a burglary at the location just prior to the shooting. It is unknown at this time if the shooting victim is related to the reported burglary.

LAPD said there is no suspect information or further details at this time.
