Lake View Terrace, Los Angeles, CA: A Los Angeles Police Department air unit spotted a brush fire at Hansen Dam around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, Apr. 19, and requested Los Angeles City Fire Department personnel to respond.

When LAFD arrived, they found a 50′ x 50′ area previously burned by fire. Firefighters were quick to obtain a knockdown of the fire within 25 minutes.

LAFD will remain at the location to make sure hotspots do not reignite.
