Porter Ranch, Los Angeles, CA: An attic fire occurred early Monday morning, July 11, at the Outback Steakhouse on the 18700 block of Devonshire Street in the Porter Ranch neighborhood of the city of Los Angeles within the San Fernando Valley.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the 4:12 a.m. reported fire and was able to locate the bulk of the fire in the attic of the steakhouse above the kitchen area.

Firefighters worked to achieve a quick initial knockdown of bulk of the flames. At the time of this report, firefighters were working to determine if the fire had extended into an adjacent sushi restaurant.
