Gas Station Security Guard Shot in Phoenix

Phoenix, Ariz., Apr. 11 (KNN) — Phoenix Police Department officers were called to the QT gas station at the intersection of Thomas Road and 27th Avenue after a person was reportedly shot around 9:43 p.m. Thursday.

Officers arrived and located a QT security guard who had been shot.

Phoenix firefighters were dispatched to the scene and transported the security guard to a local area hospital in unknown condition.

Police closed off access to the gas station as they investigated the shooting.

There are no further details.
