Homicide Detectives Investigate Shooting Death of 2 Victims in Lancaster

LANCASTER, CA, Sept. 13 (KNN) — The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a male and female overnight in Lancaster.

Deputies from the LASD and personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the 44000 block of Valley Central Way around 3 a.m. Wednesday for a report of two people down and shots fired.

Upon arrival, deputies and fire department personnel located two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were only described as a male and female.

The male was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounce deceased. The female victim was pronounced deceased at the scene, and also suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.

No further details are available as LASD Homicide detectives continue their investigation into the fatal shooting.
