Homicide Investigation Underway Into Reseda Fatal Shooting of Male Found in Garage

RESEDA, LOS ANGELES, Nov. 17 (KNN) — A homicide investigation is underway by the Los Angeles Police Department after a male succumbed to his wounds from a shooting in Reseda Thursday night.

A shooting was reported at 10 p.m. in the garage behind an address on the 19500 block of Vanowen Street. LAPD’s West Valley officers along with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the location and found the victim in grave condition.

The victim was immediately transported by LAFD paramedics to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased, according to the LAPD.

Officer Drake Madison with LAPD’s Media Relations told KNN there was a physical altercation involving the suspect and victim, both 35-year-old males, when the suspect produced a gun and fired multiple rounds striking the victim.

The suspect was last seen fleeing the alley westbound toward Corbin Avenue and out of view.
