Infant Located After Vehicle Stolen at Gas Station

Des Moines, WA: Just after 4 p.m. Sunday, July 24, Des Moines Police were dispatched to a report of a stolen vehicle with a six-month-old infant inside around the 24000 block of Pacific Highway South in the city of Des Moines.

Officers from multiple agencies responded to the area and quickly located the vehicle in the 24100 block of 20th Ave S. The child was located inside the vehicle but the suspect was outstanding.

South King Fire responded and assessed the infant. No injuries were reported. A K9 track was performed and officers are still investigating the incident.
