Man Ejected Dies After Fiery Single-Vehicle Crash

Mid-City, Los Angeles, CA: A man was ejected during a fiery solo vehicle crash and ultimately pronounced deceased at the scene on the westbound I-10 Freeway early Wednesday morning.

The solo male occupant was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled over after colliding with the right side of the I-10 Freeway just after 2:00 a.m., Mar. 8, in the Mid-City area of Central Los Angeles.

California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene of the crash.

Upon arrival, first responders found that the victim’s vehicle had burst into flames.

Multiple vehicles had stopped, with people out on the freeway attempting to slow traffic and render aid to the victim.

Paramedics implemented lifesaving measures, but the victim was unresponsive and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

CalTrans responded for a hard closure of lanes on the westbound 10 Freeway for an unknown duration of time while authorities conducted their investigation.
