Man Shot at Devonwood Park in Mission Hills

Mission Hills, Los Angeles, CA: Around 9:10 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, the Los Angeles Police Department received a call for a man shot in a park on the 10200 block of Woodman Avenue in the Mission Hills neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley.

When LAPD arrived at the location, they found one male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, unconscious and not breathing.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital in unknown condition. One male suspect was seen detained at a police car near the shooting.

LAPD is investigating the incident.
