Man Trapped Inside Vent in Downtown L.A. Rescued by Firefighters

Downtown Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA: A man trapped inside a vent in front of the Los Angeles Convention Center, was rescued by firefighters early Friday morning.

The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a technical rescue around 12:22 a.m., Apr. 7, on the 1200 block of South Figueroa Street in Downtown Los Angeles.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a trapped man and used ladders to help him climb out from the vent.

The man was reported to be uninjured and refused medical care.

How the man ended up inside the vent is currently unclear.
