Minivan Burns Under Santa Fe Avenue Overpass in Downtown Los Angeles

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Dec. 8 (KNN) — A Los Angeles Police Department Newton Division patrol unit rolled up on a minivan fully-engulfed in flames on East 23rd Street directly under the Santa Fe Avenue overpass around 2:44 a.m. Friday.

The LAPD officers requested the Los Angeles Fire Department to respond to the scene. Crews extinguished the flames in just a few minutes.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.
