Motor Scooter Driver Hospitalized After Hit-and-Run Collision

Downtown Los Angeles, CA: The driver of a Honda Ruckus motor scooter was hospitalized after a hit-and-run collision in Downtown Los Angeles late Saturday evening.

The victim was treated for injuries at the scene and transported to a local area hospital by LAFD. *Johnathan Martin* / KNN

At 8:20 p.m., Apr. 2, Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department officers were dispatched for an apparent hit-and-run, vehicle vs pedestrian collision at Hill and 2nd Street.

Upon arrival, responders discovered that the victim injured in the hit-and-run collision was driving a motorized scooter and possibly delivering for a food delivery service.

The victim was treated for injuries at the scene and transported to a local area hospital by LAFD firefighter/paramedics for further evaluation and treatment.

LAPD is investigating the collision. There is no vehicle description at this time.
