Lancaster, CA: A motorcycle rider was injured in a collision with an SUV at approximately 12:47 p.m. on Monday, Apr. 11, that also destroyed the bike. The SUV had severe front end and windshield damage.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station received 911 calls regarding a traffic collision at Avenue L-4 and 10th Street West in the city of Lancaster.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered a vehicle had collided with what appears to be a dirt bike. Firefighters and paramedics from Los Angeles County Fire Department Station 134 responded to the location and transported the rider to the hospital by ambulance in unknown condition.
The driver of the vehicle was treated at the scene but was not transported. Lancaster deputies from the Traffic Unit stayed at the location to process the scene.
It is unknown at this time what caused the collision. No further details are available.
