Motorcyclist Killed in Lancaster Traffic Collision

Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: A traffic collision involving a vehicle and motorcycle left the motorcyclist deceased at the scene after attempts to save his life.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies along with the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a traffic collision on Division Street and Avenue K-8 in the city of Lancaster at approximately 4:32 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2022.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered a motorcycle had crashed into a white vehicle. The rider was discovered lying unconscious on the street. Firefighters and paramedics from Stations 129 and 135 began CPR, however, their efforts were unsuccessful and the male rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.

It is unknown at this time if the vehicle was at fault, however, unconfirmed witness accounts state the vehicle pulled out in front of the rider. The coroner arrived on scene at approximately 8:10 p.m. to remove the deceased rider.

Family was seen on the side of the street grieving their loss.

Lancaster City was requested to place hard closures to allow Lancaster deputies to continue their investigation.
