Lancaster, Los Angeles County, CA: Children were among the six total individuals reported injured in a two-vehicle traffic collision in the city of Lancaster early Monday morning.

At approximately 7:03 a.m., Apr. 4, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call regarding a two-vehicle traffic collision on Avenue I and 25th Street West (Valley Central Way).
Upon arrival, Lancaster deputies discovered a collision in the intersection involving a Chevy Traverse and a Jeep Wrangler. Los Angeles County firefighters from Station 33, 130, and 134 arrived on the scene and located six patients total, five of them possibly children, according to fire department traffic.
Air transport was unavailable due to weather. All patients were transported with unknown injuries by ambulance to a local area hospital. Hard closures were put into place by the city to allow the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department to further investigate the cause of the collision.
