Patient Airlifted to Hospital After 3-Vehicle Traffic Collision Involves Hit-and-Run Drivers in Pearblossom

PEARBLOSSOM, Calif., Dec. 22 (KNN) — One patient was airlifted to a hospital following a multi-vehicle traffic collision involving hit-and-run drivers Thursday evening in the city of Pearblossom.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Palmdale Station, Los Angeles County Fire Department, and California Highway Patrol Antelope Valley Station received a 911 call shortly before 7:30 p.m. regarding a three-vehicle traffic collision with two people trapped at Pearblossom Highway and Longview Road.

One vehicle fled the scene and the driver of the second vehicle involved fled on foot. One person was transported by helicopter from the scene to a local hospital.

There was no immediate information regarding the second party trapped inside a vehicle. No further details are available at this time.
