Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Hit-and-Run Traffic Collision in Echo Park

ECHO PARK, LOS ANGELES, Apr. 3 (KNN) — A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run collision in the Echo Park neighborhood within Los Angeles overnight.

Los Angeles Police Department’s Rampart Division officers and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian traffic collision at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday at the intersection of West Sunset Boulevard and North Boylston Street.

The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. LAFD paramedics transported the victim by ambulance to a local hospital where they later succumbed to their injuries.
