Police Apprehend Suspect for 2 Separate Cutting Incidents Within Same Building

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Aug. 11 (KNN) — A suspect was taken into custody by police overnight for allegedly injuring two victims in separate cutting incidents within the same apartment building.

Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood Division officers responded to a reported stabbing around 2:19 a.m. Friday, at an apartment building in the 1300 block of North Poinsettia Place in Hollywood.

When officers arrived on scene, they discovered two victims in two different apartment units with facial lacerations and that the suspect had fled to the roof, possibly armed with a pole.

The two victims were transported by ambulance to a local hospital in unknown conditions.

The suspect continued to hunker down on the roof until he climbed down into a third story apartment.

He eventually made his way to the ground level and exited the building where he attempted to flee but was quickly apprehended by LAPD officers without further incident.

The suspect was also taken to the hospital for unknown injuries.
