Pursuit Ends in Multiple Injury Traffic Collision, Suspect in Custody After Foot Bail

Pomona, Los Angeles County, CA: Just before 9:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, Pomona Police Department officers attempted to stop a vehicle in the Food 4 Less parking lot. A pursuit ensued traveling on city streets and alleys that lasted 10 minutes.

The pursuit ended when the driver ran a red light hitting two vehicles at the intersection of Grand and Garey avenues in the city of Pomona.

The driver took foot bail and was apprehended within a few seconds.

A total of three patients were injured in other vehicles, and due to the long delay of CARE ambulance, parties were taken to a local hospital by LACoFD.
