Florence, Los Angeles, CA: A homeless individual was shot by a suspect who fled the scene on a bicycle early Thursday morning in the Florence neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to a call of a homeless individual shot around 1:45 a.m. on Slauson Avenue and San Pedro Street. According to LAPD, Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local area hospital in stable condition.

LAPD reported the suspect was last seen riding westbound Slauson Avenue on a bicycle.
