CANOGA PARK, LOS ANGELES, Feb. 27 (KNN) — Firefighters with the Los Angeles City Fire Department worked to protect a building from a nearby burning outdoor trash fire in Canoga Park overnight.

The LAFD responded to a reported trash fire in the 21600 block of Roscoe Boulevard shortly after 1:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, firefighters requested additional units and escalated the response to a structure fire as flames began to ignite the exterior of a nearby building.
Firefighters knocked down the flames within the first 10 minutes of their arrival.
The LAFD is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
