Westlake, Los Angeles, CA: An abandoned one story duplex burned early Wednesday, Sept. 14, in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the reported structure fire at 3:58 a.m. on the 200 block of North Westlake Avenue and arrived to find heavy pressurized smoke coming from all attic vents.
LAFD made an aggressive fire attack and was able to achieve knockdown at approximately 4:25 a.m. with 34 firefighters on the scene.
LAFD reported fire extended into the attic of both units of the duplex. The vacant structure had a partial roof collapse.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No injuries were reported.
