Woman Found Dead Outside Thousand Oaks Apartment Complex

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif., Dec. 31 (KNN) — A woman was found dead in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the city of Thousand Oaks shortly after midnight Sunday.

Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Bella Vista Apartments located in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive for reports of a female down in the parking lot.

A passersby reported the female was bleeding from the mouth and nose.

Arriving deputies reported that the victim was blue and also located chunks of hair scattered around the scene. The victim was pronounced deceased.

VCSO deputies have cordoned off the area and homicide detectives responded to the scene.

No further information was immediately available.
