Woman Wounded in Studio City Shooting; 2 Suspects Flee in Vehicle

STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES, Mar. 15 (KNN) – A woman was shot late Friday night in the 3900 block of Kentucky Drive in Studio City, prompting a police investigation and search for the outstanding suspects.

According to initial yet unconfirmed Los Angeles Police Department information at the scene, the victims reported being followed home by unknown subjects in a silver sedan.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to her left leg in the parking garage of an apartment building.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics treated the victim at the scene and transported her to the hospital in stable condition.

A spokesperson for the LAPD told Key News Network that two male suspects approached on foot and fired multiple rounds, injuring the 39-year-old female victim.

Police combed the area for potential suspects and interviewed witnesses.

Witnesses indicated two heavy-set male suspects, described as Hispanic, wore all black and black masks. The suspects remain at-large and were last seen heading eastbound on Cahuenga Boulevard.

The LAPD spokesperson said the suspects fled in a vehicle.
