1 Killed, 1 Wounded in East Hollywood Shooting

East Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA: The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one person dead and another wounded early Saturday morning in front of an apartment complex.

The LAPD and Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a shots fired call around 2:15 a.m., Apr. 29, on the 900 block of North Mariposa Avenue in the East Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Upon arrival, one patient was found shot in the chest and not breathing. LAFD immediately started CPR, but the patient succumbed to their injury. The other patient was transported in unknown condition to a local hospital.
