Bakersfield, Kern County, CA: A shooting in East Bakersfield left two males wounded overnight. The Bakersfield Police Department responded to the shooting around 1:38 a.m. Sunday, Apr. 30, in the area of Alta Vista and Monterey Street.

Arriving officers found two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds at the location. They were both transported in unknown conditions by ambulance to a local hospital.

A crime scene perimeter was established as BPD officers investigated the incident.
