1 Killed, 3 Ejected in Montclair Violent Crash

Montclair, San Bernardino County, CA: One person was killed, and three others were ejected from a vehicle that was torn apart in a violent crash on Sunday, June 12, in the city of Montclair.

Authorities responded to a vehicle over the embankment on the Eastbound 10 Freeway just west of Central Avenue around 12:50 a.m.

California Highway Patrol arrived on the scene to find a vehicle disintegrated into the K-Rail with three parties ejected. Montclair and Los Angels County Fire Departments also responded to treat and stabilize the victims at the scene.

Paramedics pronounced one person deceased at the scene and three patients were transported by ambulance to a local trauma center. A female injured in the crash stated they were struck by another vehicle.

The details regarding the collision are unknown at this time.

CHP is investigating.
