Canyon Country, Los Angeles County, CA: Axle Garcia was walking his dog near his residence when he witnessed a high-speed collision of a Dodge Charger which blew through a stop sign at a “T” intersection on Rainbow Glen Drive and Golden Triangle Road in Canyon Country. Garcia did not hesitate to run to the scene of the crash to help.

Good samaritan Garcia recounted to Key News Network, at the location on camera, what he saw and did to help the injured victims. He said after witnessing the crash, he took his dog right away and put him inside then grabbed his phone, dialed 911, and ran out barefoot. He told drivers pulling up to the scene, “You need to help me, you need to help me!”

Garcia called 911 and reported the accident around 12:41 a.m. Sunday, June 12, 2022.

Garcia told bystanders to help him out to free the three people inside the Dodge Charger. The good samaritan suffered cuts to his right hand from breaking out the car window to free a person from the vehicle.

The other bystanders were able to rescue two females from inside the vehicle until paramedics arrived and were able to transport both of them to a local hospital. One suffered injuries to her leg and the other with unknown injuries, both females were unconscious per the witness.

A female’s vehicle was hit by the Charger and pushed inside to the parking lot. She was seen shaking after exiting her vehicle.

The Charger ignited a commercial structure fire after it crashed into a dental office at the location. Los Angeles County firefighters arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames in approximately 15 minutes.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies from Newhall Station were also dispatched and blocked off traffic north and south on Rainbow Glen Drive and eastbound on Golden Triangle Road for all emergency vehicles.

The cause of the collision is under investigation. There are no further details at this time.
