1 Killed in Double Stabbing in Ventura

Ventura, Ventura County, CA: One person was killed and one wounded in a stabbing in the city of Ventura overnight.

Ventura Police Department officers responded to a call of a stabbing in the 200 block of McFarlane Drive just after 1:00 a.m. Sunday, Apr. 16.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a male suffering from a stab wound to his neck. He was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

A second stabbing victim was also found at the location and was transported to the hospital as well in unknown condition.

A possible suspect was apprehended and taken into custody after fleeing from the scene.

There are no further details at this time.
