Mini Bike Rider Struck, Injured by Vehicle in Bakersfield

Bakersfield, Kern County, CA: A Mini Bike rider was struck by a vehicle that stayed at the scene of the collision Saturday night.

The incident was reported just before 8:00 p.m., Apr. 15, regarding a vehicle versus Mini Bike traffic collision with a rider down in the roadway suffering from major injuries at Madison and Watts Drive in the city of Bakersfield.

The victim was transported to a local hospital by responding paramedics.

Bakersfield Police Department officers were on scene handling the investigation. The driver of the vehicle involved stayed at the location and was cooperating with authorities.

Front end and windshield damage was visible on the vehicle and the Mini Bike was seen laying on the pavement nearby.
