One person died at the scene of a three-vehicle collision with one vehicle engulfed in flames early Sunday morning in the city of Pomona.

Just after 2:00 a.m. Apr. 17, California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the Eastbound 60 Freeway just west of Reservoir Street for reports of a traffic collision with fire.
Arriving engines located three vehicles with one vehicle fully involved in flames. One patient was transported by CARE ambulance to a local hospital in unknown condition and one person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
CHP is handling the investigation.
