1 Person, 1 Dog Killed in Single-Vehicle Rollover Crash on 605 Freeway

Lakewood, Los Angeles County, CA: One person and a dog were both found lifeless on a 605 Freeway off-ramp after a single-vehicle rollover crash that occurred early Saturday morning, Sept. 3, in the city of Lakewood.

Los Angeles County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol received a call around 12:40 a.m. of a rollover crash on the North 605 Freeway at Carson.

Upon arrival, CHP and LACoFD reported one solo vehicle crash with one person ejected and a dog, both lying on the ground on the off-ramp of the North 605.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. CHP is investigating the incident.

The off-ramp of the North 605 at Carson was shut down for an unknown period of time.
