Pedestrian in Critical Condition After Struck by Vehicle in Kent

Kent, WA: On the evening of Sept. 2, Kent Police Department and Puget Sound Fire responded to calls regarding a vehicle versus pedestrian collision with reports of the victim being thrown approximately 30 feet into the air on South 240th Street in the city of Kent.

Upon arrival, officers and fire crews found a patient in critical condition. The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center by medics.

It was unclear if the vehicle and driver involved in the incident were at the scene.

KPD is investigating the circumstances of the collision.
