1 Trapped After Car Crashes onto Parked Vehicle

Norwalk, Los Angeles County, CA: A car crash involving a parked vehicle trapped one person rescued by firefighters early Sunday morning.

Norwalk Sheriff’s Station and the Los Angeles County Fire Department received a call around 3:33 a.m., Nov. 27, for a traffic collision on the 14400 block of Studebaker Road in the city of Norwalk.

LACoFD arrived and reported a vehicle on its side held up by a parked vehicle with one patient trapped in the back seat.

Fire personnel quickly used cutters to slice through the vehicle along with the Jaws of Life to free the patient.

The patient was transported to a local hospital with unknown injuries and the driver was uninjured.

The cause of crash is unknown at this time. Norwalk deputies are investigating the incident.
