Driver Flees After Crashing Into Car Wash in East Los Angeles

EAST LOS ANGELES, CA, Nov. 5 (KNN) — A driver fled the scene of a traffic collision after crashing into a structure early Saturday morning in East Los Angeles.

California Highway Patrol’s East L.A. officers responded to Clement’s Car Wash in the 4200 block of East 3rd Street around 2:44 a.m. for reports of a crash.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a ford pickup truck partially into the structure of the car wash.

The driver fled the scene per CHP off camera.

The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety were called to the scene to evaluate the structure.
