Gunshot Victim Found at Lancaster Location Notorious For Shootings

LANCASTER, CA, Nov. 4 (KNN) — A shooting Saturday evening left a man wounded at the Americas Best Value Inn in Lancaster prompting numerous calls to authorities.

Just before 7 p.m. Saturday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department received multiple 911 calls regarding a gunshot victim at the location.

Deputies arrived at the Inn located in the 44000 block of Sierra Highway, and discovered a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center in Lancaster. The suspect was described only as a male Black adult around 23 years old, wearing all black with a black mask, who fled northbound on Sierra Highway toward Avenue J.

The location is notorious for gunshot victims and also where two brothers were killed in the last couple of months.

The circumstances surrounding this shooting is currently under investigation by Lancaster deputies. No further details are available at this time.
