DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5 (KNN) — A burning commercial building previously extinguished by the Los Angeles Fire Department, erupted into flames again in the downtown area of Los Angeles early Monday morning.

LAFD crews were dispatched just before 3 a.m. to a two-story office building fire on the 1000 block of West Sunset Boulevard. The address was the location of a previous significant fire just three days earlier, according to the LAFD.
The LAFD reported that the 7,400 square foot building is vacant and boarded. Firefighters attacked the flames and extinguished the fire in 37 minutes with 56 firefighters on scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
