Man Wounded in Echo Park Shooting

ECHO PARK, LOS ANGELES, Apr. 27 (KNN) — A suspect is still at large after a shooting in Echo Park late Friday night left a man wounded.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Division patrol units responded to reports of a shooting victim around 11:40 p.m. at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Alvarado Street.

When officers arrived on scene, they located a man down with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. His condition was unknown.

The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of LAPD officers.
