Man Hospitalized After Brutal Stabbing at Extended Stay Hotel

Huntington Beach, Orange County, CA: A man was rushed to the hospital after being brutally stabbed at an Extended Stay America hotel late Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to a reported assault with a deadly weapon call shortly before 11:45 p.m., Apr. 12, where they found a male victim down upon arrival with unknown wounds from a stabbing.

A large police presence was seen gathered in the parking lot of the Extended Stay America located on the 5000 block of Skylab Road Circle in the seaside city of Huntington Beach.

Currently, details are vague, however, one male was transported away from the scene by ambulance to a nearby trauma center in unknown condition.

Police cordoned off the parking lot where multiple evidence markers were placed by officers.

At least one other person out of camera view, was evaluated by Huntington Beach Fire Department paramedics, but declined medical transport.

The Huntington Beach Police Department continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
