Harvard Park, Los Angeles, CA: Two vehicles collided taking down a street light and sending two patients to the hospital Friday night.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a traffic collision around 10:00 p.m., Apr. 21, on the 6600 block of South Western Avenue in the Harvard Park neighborhood within South Los Angeles.
Firefighters arrived and reported a two-vehicle traffic collision with three patients – no one trapped – and a street light down at the scene.
Firefighters started medical aid to two patients and transported them both to a local hospital.
One patient was observed on a gurney being removed from an ambulance at the scene and placed in a seated position. The patient then stood up and walked away from the ambulance visibly distraught. He appeared to have been examined by paramedics and released.
The cause of crash is unknown at this time.
