SUV Found Engulfed in Flames is Suspected Arson

Moorpark, Ventura County, CA: Ventura County Fire crews responded to reports of an SUV on fire on Hitch Boulevard just south of SR-118 in the city of Moorpark early Friday morning, Apr. 28, around 4:25 a.m.

When crews arrived on scene, they found the SUV fully engulfed in flames on the side of the road.

The fire was knocked down in just a few minutes. No one associated with the SUV was at the scene.

The fire is believed to be an intentional start per fire personnel on scene.

California Highway Patrol’s Moorpark office is handling the incident investigation.
