BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Nov. 9 (KNN) — A broken water main overnight flooded streets in the Boyle Heights neighborhood as well as a section of the 101 Freeway.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of flooding around 3:15 a.m. Thursday in the area of 4th Street and Boyle Avenue.
When crews arrived on scene, they located a large water main break on Boyle Avenue flowing down 4th Street.
The flooding from the broken main also flowed onto the southbound 101 Freeway flooding all lanes of traffic. At least two collisions occurred as a result.
The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power was notified of the break.
LADOT had the affected area closed to traffic.
