TARZANA, LOS ANGELES, Nov. 9 (KNN) — The Los Angeles Police Department was alerted to an apparent hate crime at a San Fernando Valley synagogue early Thursday morning.

The LAPD’s West Valley Division officers received a call at 12:20 a.m. for a hate crime that had occurred at the Eretz Synagogue and Cultural Center located in the 6100 block of Wilbur Avenue in Tarzana.
Officers arrived and found that a vehicle had driven through both entrance gates at the synagogue and fled the location.
The grounds keeper was at the location when the crime occurred and heard the crash.
LAPD officers cleared the scene after searching for any suspects that could still be on the property. There was no vehicle immediately located at the time of this overnight report.
There are multiple cameras at the synagogue and officers will be reviewing footage.
