Crypto.com Arena Patron Assaulted, Robbed While Leaving NBA Game

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 15 (KNN) — A male was assaulted and robbed while leaving the Crypto.com Arena late Thursday night after attending an NBA game.

The Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Division patrol units responded to an “assault with a deadly weapon” call shortly before 10:30 p.m. at the Crypto.com Arena located at 1111 S. Figueroa in Downtown Los Angeles.

Officers located one male victim who was attacked by several unknown suspects as he was leaving the basketball game. A witness at the scene stated off camera that the victim was physically assaulted and robbed of a jewelry chain before the suspects ran off in an unknown direction. The value of the chain is not known at this time.

The victim was transported by Los Angeles Fire Department firefighter/paramedics to a local area hospital for treatment of his injuries. His condition was not immediately known.
